Spoken in English. Their words, as they said them.
Just coming up that I'm usually the watcher, the witness. So the tables are turned.
My art, well, I was in I was in, I was an illustrator in advertising and design for thirty years. So that was very, you know, commodity doing that. For the the people that I work with, groups that I work with. And there are usually lots of symbols and, we do something called, Visio Divina, which is you find a place on this piece that there's a lot to look at. But if you look at a certain area, that probably has something, a message in there for you.
I also do abstract art called visual medicine. And that's oracle art. That's, taking tarot cards another step further. It's turning turning the piece every which way and listening for your message, seeing a creature, seeing something that reminds you of an event that you're trying to process, seeing an ally.
It's really fun.
Most people don't understand. Other artists that I know, no. No. People People don't take time. People don't stop and breathe and listen.
There have been a there have been a handful of times in my entire life where people have seen my art. And instead of saying, oh, you can draw really well or, you know, back to the commodity thing, where they're actually looking and maybe asking a question or I can see that it opened a question for them and and who they are. That's only happened to me a few times.
And so, you know, being more thoughtful and interpersonal is much more interesting to me now.
You know, what is what's between us when when we're looking in eye to eye and these funny bodies that we're in that, you know, make little creaks and cracks. And, and I think we can learn so much when we're when we're curious instead of outputting all the time, outputting noise or stuff, producing constantly, that there's a small little utopia. You know, we can find little islands of, of peace by paying attention.
Cathy is a a consciousness that, is mingling with all the other divinities that I meet all day, every day, other humans, creatures, plants, rocks, clouds, who, tries to remember the big picture when my humanity becomes upset or frightened.
I I guess I I wanna, in my own quiet way, make make a difference somehow. Add some add some peace here and there.
It's part part of our evolution. That's who she is. They are, you know. Right? If, I mean, who am I? I'm a gender in this body, but, right, we're all I don't know what I am before that.
More more part of that big picture, I think, sinking more back in more into the background of, the, bigger, ebbs and flows of, what humans do.
I think the longer the longer I live, the less important the little stuff is. I mean, sometimes it's all little stuff. If it's a beautiful little peaceful thing or or or or horrendous horrible thing. The little stuff can really matter.
You know, have having a a baby is the most special thing ever in the whole world ever ever, And everybody's doing it all day long. So I have a different outlook, that is is tending toward everything's okay. It's just okay.
I don't think I have a question.
I think I did that for the whole first part of my life, and I'm kind of done with it. Question seeking. And and yeah. I'm just curious about everything.
Well, I think there's space. That opens up space for, you know, service or something, innovation. I don't know. If if I'm not, like, I feel like maybe I opened a window or a door to, what's my next thing gonna be? Can I hear where I'm needed? Can I show up for the next thing that this whole puzzle is asking me to do?
