Osmond Kellogg Mairs
Art as a gift of my happiness
6:27
Spoken in English. Their words, as they said them.
Here, is almost complete silence.
Well that's it when it went back to silence but you can hear the silence, I don't know how to describe it but it's a sort of pleasant tune the silence to me. In this particular time, just now, I can hear like a music, but it's not a music, it's, it's just, I I seem to like a rhythm, probably. It's like a wave. Maybe an energy wave.
That's what I was talking to about the color of the rain because each drop is different leaf, the color, the clear color is different than when it drops on the ground I wonder how many people notice that when they don't really But I think creatures, little creatures of the earth like ladybirds and insects, things like that, they've, how they relate to a raindrop. I was thinking about that a couple of months ago. Do they see the same thing? They do. Each droplet is different.
Did you do that? That's what I, I said to a lot of people, you know, when you get up in the morning, you don't know what's gonna happen to you, it must be wonderful or it must be not wonderful, but it's always a new experience. And I said, and you have to live that one, whether in whatever way you can. Yeah, But it and it's, it's sort of somebody's giving you a gift in some way.
I had the desire from, I couldn't go and ever paint, you know. I said, it it never leaves me and also it's it gives me enormous amount of pleasure when I see against or somebody tells me something's it gives them a great amount of happiness. Yeah.
I I was born a painter, especially if you want to say that I'm a painter.
But I I think it's good to develop, like as I said, and I took these diplomas in reflexology and timidity, it's good to see. But that also, influenced me also in my painting as well too. The the actual studies of people in that that way or getting to know better. So that it was a form of art in helping, I suppose.
I want people to, think that I'm doing this because it's coming from inside here, and it's trying to convey my inner happiness to the outside world. I put it in that way. Without getting complicated or to and make it as simple as possible. I would To think that's in art, that's what I want people to feel, that there's certain happiness and conveyed in whatever medium it's done in, so that it will also give pleasure in whatever way they interpret the pleasure or the feeling of it.
That's basically what I would want to to convey.
