Stepping out in new ways
Spoken in English. Their words, as they said them.
What I am doing with me?
This, inner call that I have since a couple of months to become a bird, so take my car, my bike, and go around for a couple of weeks.
Sleeping, working from the car. Working as little as possible.
Strong need to fly.
But in a different way.
My, yeah, my desire to walk again in remote place talking to people.
Exchanging their stories.
It's big.
My passion for people anthropology.
That is fascinating. Always been very fascinating for me.
Yeah. Distant culture surprise you, so you don't have this inner coherence that creates this autopilot thinking that you can forecast and be lazy When you are far away in a situation that you don't know, all your senses blossom.
I've always been thinking, that there is an art in sociality. There is a social art, which is is a different way of crafting. You can craft a cultural bridge between culture with a delicate and proper social art. So that's my natural inclination.
That's what happened when I was traveling in Africa, Asia, America.
There's also a new impulse to do more with my hands. So crafting, really.
That would be interesting, yeah? How do you do social art with your hands as well?
Yeah, shaking hands, first of all.
But not only.
What happened in the last year?
The beauty and constraints.
My struggle, my passion, My passion with human being.
My struggle Good feelings.
My biography.
Important person I met, my wife.
I usually tell about the town where I was born, Milano. Yeah. I was born in in one of those, area at the periphery of the town where criminality was high.
And living there was that easy as a teenager.
Very hierarchical.
It was a journey down to be born in such an environment and understanding the importance of doing things together, the importance of a real friend.
The importance of a real woman beside you.
Yeah, I lost my wife in the beginning of, 02/2017, after ten years of cancer.
You know, which was, strong journey.
Yeah.
Our kids were five and three when she got cancer. And she was very strong for like eight years.
She was coping very well, even though surgeries, different surgeries were necessary.
So, yeah, we've been together until the last moment.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Maybe my first important art piece.
Can tell this story.
We need to go out again in the world.
Singing, dancing, swimming, climbing again in a different way, with a different awareness.
