Touching the mystery of seeing

Spoken in English. Their words, as they said them.

There's a question that keeps coming up for me.

It's what does it mean to see? What does it mean to truly see? When my eyes are closed, it feels like I could see an entire universe, entire cosmos. Like, I can see so much more when than when my eyes are open.

When I close my eyes, the things I see are intangible, and yet they seem sure, more real than the things I see when I open my eyes.

Brings up another question for me, it's not just what does it mean to see? It's also like, what do we see when we truly look? What do we see when we truly look?

Yeah. When I look out at other people, it feels almost like I am being pulled into them, even when I can see, of course, their this gender, that height, that skin color. It's not that I don't see those things, they're there, but I still feel pulled into them, the intangible them. The chain is seems truer, real, realer, more real. I like this word realer and it feels more expensive.

They feel more expensive. I feel more expensive.

It feels like I'm going deeper and deeper, further and further towards some kind of seeing. It doesn't feel like I'm moving towards an object to be seeing actually, but perhaps just seeing itself, like the depths of seeing itself, the distance of seeing itself.

The experience of seeing itself.

When I hear myself say that, it's almost like seeing this way becomes its own kind of practice, its own kind of spiritual practice, which is what it feels like to me as I talk.

See him as spiritual practice.

Seeing as listening, seeing as connecting, seeing as loving, seeing as being, seeing as transcending.

I feel like a I feel like a child. Like I I feel like a child, like just learning to walk actually.

Like I actually have no idea how to see.

I feel like a child.

I do- like I- I talk about seeing and- and write about it And yet, I'm realizing in this moment I actually don't even know what it is.
