Ending a relationship
Spoken in English. Their words, as they said them.
And it goes back to this, it goes back to this question of authenticity and translation of authenticity.
There are people in my life where I can say what I just said and they would understand it. And there are people in my life that would go that would just that cannot hear that death and loss is about anything else than grieving. Like they would the whole notion that you could celebrate the end of something at the same time as you mourn it's going away, is just unacceptable. It's not a language that is accessible to them.
And so, as this was going on in another domain of my life, there was something else that was ending.
A relationship that has meant a lot to me.
That was ending, and I was I was trying to create the conditions for this to also be celebrating what this relationship had created, and there was no I just was not translating that. I was just not getting that across. So it ended up being just a huge misfire.
